Who we are

Proova is a product of MT AI SYSTEMS LTD, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No 16910754), 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX (“we”). We are the controller for the personal data described here. Contact: mehmet.tezcan@mtaisystems.com.

This website

• The site has no forms, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and sets no cookies. Fonts and images are served from this site.
• Our hosting server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, time and requested page) to keep the site running and secure.
• If you email us, we use your name, email address and message to reply, arrange a call or a pilot, or tell you when a test place opens. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps you ask us to take before a possible contract.

The Proova beta app

Proova is currently a private iOS beta distributed through Apple TestFlight to invited testers. It is not on the App Store.

• When a tester tries on a garment, their photo is sent to our server and on to our image-model provider, OpenAI, to create the try-on image.
• Proova is built so the photo is processed in memory and is not written to our storage or database. This has been checked by our own development team; an independent review is in progress.
• OpenAI states that it may keep API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and does not use them to train its models.
• The app lets testers see and delete their data from the “Your data” screen.

How long we keep data

Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and then deleted or kept only as required by law.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Email us to do this. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
